Hii readers. I hope you are doing well.
Recently, frustrated with the hectic schedules of every day and the monotony of life, I decided to indulge myself in a creative activity. nothing serious, just to make sure that I won't lose my mental peace within these busy days of exam preparation. Music is one of my favourite pastime activities. Thus, there I stood. decided to play songs on my Cassy. Oh, that's my keyboard. Finally, I learned to play a song called "Raabta" within a few days, which used to be my favourite song once upon a time. By the way, I must mention that I'm not a professionally trained musician or something. During the summer of 2016, my father bought me a keyboard but I could never join a piano class. Thus, this inquisitive being within me made YouTube and google its trainer. Now in 2023, I'm still an amateur in instrument playing and still a non-professional. The reason I'm sharing all these with you is the fact that I want to share a small thing I realised a few days ago while playing my keyboard in the most novice way.
Being a novice, I have always played songs on my keyboard without practising much basics. Directly finding notes and chords of the particular song and playing the song in ecstatically. Now when I know the song and the chords and notes used in them, I slide down to basics and start learning and mastering the tiny details of the musical notes to enhance the musical experience. With the increase in coverage of songs, I eventually ended up learning all the basics of music with time through various sources.
In contrast, my friend who goes to the piano class first learns about the basic chords, musical notes, practises them over and over again to master them and then plays the songs.
The fact to notice is the difference and the similarity between these two situations. Both of us play the same song with the same expertise with almost the same knowledge of music. We both practised chords and notes , but at different times, in a different sequence, in different conditions. However, they played the same songs and tunes. What do you think, did the sequence of events matter here ?
This is the exact difference between SCIENCE and SPIRITUALITY. Playing the song and then learning the chords is spirituality. Learning the chords first and then playing the song is science. Science is first studying thermodynamics and then kindling a candle and spirituality is first kindling a candle to open the book of thermodynamics and study how we kindle the candle. The conclusions of both science and spirituality are not diverse. What draws a subtle line of difference between them is the difference in sequence of events followed to reach the same stage of enlightenment.
Now, you must be curious to know, where does religion come into play ? Religion acts to ensure the safeguard of ethical aspects of the journey to attain the conclusive state of knowledge, be it through science or spirituality. In the above mentioned case of my music learning experience, religion is when I don't misuse my knowledge of music, nor allow that to happen in any case.
Unable to understand the subtle difference between the analogical aspects of science, spirituality and religion, today the 788.84 crore people are divided into the categories of Theist,Atheist, and what not. Sad reality is some mishaps can be traced down with the loss of lives of thousands of people just in name of a war between belief and superstition. But, the truth is a spiritual person can be religious and scientific. A religious person can be spiritual and scientific. A scientific person can be religious and spiritual.
Now that you have felt the translucent curtain between science ,spirituality and religion, step another step ahead and ask your queries about anything you want to know..
